The Black Knights Medieval Extravaganza truly conveys the colour and spectacle of a 13th century pagenant.The Black Knights will present two shows on each of the two days of the Halton Show.

Over The Top: The Pride of Cheshire show-jumping competition was sponsored by Golden Wonder.

Going for a spin: Runcorn 3rd and 9th Scouts held a bottle roulette with David Hutchinson, 15, and Graham McCann, 11, helping out.

On the ball: West Bank Bear Junior ARLFC helper Paul Farrall with Susan Wright, 11, from St Marie's School in Widnes, having fun on one of the games at the show. 

On Target: Mersey Gun Club secretary Bob Whitley from Hale Bank in Widnes, helps to raise funds for Nazareth House with a clay pigeon shoot at the show on Saturday. 

What's it all about: Selling the Halton Show programmes are Melissa Reeves, 11, from The Brow School in Runcorn and Lindsay Bateman, 13, from St Chad's in Runcorn.

Fund boost: Halton Kidney Fund was helped by the efforts of Sylvia Edwards, Cllr Ian Evans and Doreen White.

The Flying Crusaders Aerobic Duo.
Sponsored by the Daily and Sunday Express, the Crusaders are an aerobatic display with a difference. The brain-child of Brian l.ecomber, the display brings together a vintage biplane and a modem 'state of the art monoplane in the same act for the first time.

Wheel Fun. Trying a quad bike is Christopher Carmon, seven, from West Bank School in Widnes.

Game for a laugh: Brothers
Christopher, 11, and Craig Russell, nine, from Runcorn's Holy Spirit School, with their game stall.

Crunch bunch: Free crisps were the attraction for Barry Quinn, 12, from St Fisher-More School, and Chris Griffiths, 13, from Wade Deacon School at the Hatton Show on Saturday.
