Showjumping star Harvey Smith made sure he didn’t miss any of the excitement at the Halton Show over the weekend.
The famous sportsman kept his programme with him at all times to find out when such attractions as the Household Cavalry, the battling Cumberland Giants and the Citroen Ski Show were taking place.
And he had his own moments in the spotlight when he took part in the nationally acclaimed show jumping event that is a popular part of the Spike Island show.

Brolly good show: The rain wasn't spoiling the show for Jemma Dawson, 15, and Claire Simpson, 13, as they wait for the next event in the main arena.
