The HALTON Show
1991

Spike Island is the place to be this weekend — yes, it’s Halton Show time!
Last year, 100,000 visitors experienced the event — the country's biggest free two-day extravaganza — and with so much on offer this weekend, organisers are confidently expecting that figure to rise.
As the show's open from 1 lam till dusk, you can always go home and return later to make sure you don't miss anything. Starting with the centrepiece main arena, you can sit in comfort and enjoy a varied programme.

The sky's the limit for Britain's most famous display pilot Brian Lecomber, in the Flying Crusaders Extra 230 monoplane.

Now the marquees have come down, the arena has been dismantled and the last traces of this year’s Halton Show cleared away, it’s time to reflect on another fabulous two days at Spike Island.
Official estimates put the crowds over the whole weekend at around 100,000, once again proving that Halton Council are right to put so much faith in this, their biggest outdoor event.
