For the second year running the Halton Show organisers had to pin their hopes on Sunday pulling in the crowds but unfortunately the previous year’s miracle couldn’t be repeated.
Saturdays seem to be jinxed as far as the Show is concerned. Twelve months ago a bitterly cold wind kept the crowds away, this time it was an incessant downpour that did more than just dampen spirits.
But gloomy Sunday did much better


“Golly” Goddard rises above the flames and the competition for a new world record.



They fly through the air with the greatest of ease. . . the Malboro aerobatic team.
Clowning around . . . antics on two wheels had the crowds laughing.



The Trailblazers parachute Display team drop into the Main Arena.
